KATHMANDU: Dr Govinda KC who has been staging a hunger-unto-death strike demanding medical education reforms today said that the government is abducting him by forcefully airlifting him from Jumla, where he has been staging protest, to the capital.

Dr KC is heard as saying, "If the government is actually concerned about my health, then why are they hesitating to fulfil my demands? Fulfil my demands, I will readily return to the capital."

"Nobody has the right to violate my rights," the satyagrahi is heard as saying in the 2:55 minute audio clip.
