In country’s interest

RAJBIRAJ: Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies Matrika Prasad Yadav on Tuesday said the incumbent government would work in the interest of people and country.

Speaking at the Sama Chakewa festival organised at Sarbodaya Higher Secondary School of Kanchnarup Municipality, Saptari, Yadav held that working in the interest of people and country would speak of its success. He dismissed the media report that the government was displaying arrogance.

Yadav argued that if party leaders at the helm abided by the party’s statute and regulations, factionalism would come to an end inside the party.

“Everyone has to abide by the rules.

The party does not have to run citing proximity to influential leaders,” he said. Minister Yadav said the authoritarian tendency adopted by some leaders had led to disputes and rift inside Nepal Communist Party in Province 2.

He asked the party rank and file to support the party leadership and leaders based on their merits and strengths. He stressed the need of unity among all parties for the sake of national sovereignty.
