ITAHARI: The government's decision to grant land to Itahari for the construction of a stadium has ignited dissatisfaction among the locals of Inaruwa. They expressed their dissatisfaction by organising protest programmes on Saturday. They have also formed a struggle committee and warned that they would continue protesting until the government decides the site for the stadium construction. They even halted vehicular movement along the East-West Highway for an hour on Saturday. The government through the cabinet meeting had decided to grant seven and half bighas of land for the construction of a stadium in Itahari.
