JANAKPUR: Most areas of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City have been waterlogged following incessant rain due to lack of proper outlet.

Most of the parts in all the 27 wards of Janakpur have been waterlogged.

The overflow of water from Gangasagar pond has resulted in inundation. It has also disrupted electricity supply and communication system in the areas.

Areas like Kadamchok, Pidarichok, Bhanuchok, Vidyapatichok. Bishwakarmachok, Airport, Kataiya Chori, Nayabasti, Pulchok, Zonal Hospital, among other have been completely waterlogged.

It has been learned that most of the government offices are inundated as well.
