Indian aid for Jhapa hospital

A memorandum of understanding was signed today between the Embassy of India, Bhadrapur

Municipality, Jhapa Hospital and the Mechi Zonal Hospital (MZH) with regard to the Indian government’s Rs 2.72 crore aid for the construction of a 25- bed hospital in Jhapa. The aid will also be used for providing furniture and equipment to the Mechi Zonal Hospital in Bhadrapur, a statement issued by the embassy said. A committee has also been formed to supervise the project, the embassy said.
