Indian envoy opens school building
CHARIKOT: Indian envoy to Nepal Rakesh Sood today inaugurated the newly constructed building of Kalinchowk Higher Secondary School in Charikot, the district headquarters of Dolakha. The school building and the road were constructed for an Indian aid of Rs 13.2 million and Rs 8.2 million, respectively.
Inaugurating the school building, envoy Sood informed that the Indian government would continue to provide assistance to development activities in Nepal. However, hinting at some delayed projects in the district, he said, responsibility of timely completion of the projects rested on the Nepalese. Meanwhile, former Minister Bhim Bahadur Tamang, UML leader Ananda Pokhrel, CDO Shri Krishna Shrestha, executive officer of Bhimeshwor Municipality Tulsi Bahadur Shrestha and Krishna Bahadur Gautam, school principal also aired their opinion on the occasion.
