BHOJPUR: An India-registered Scorpio jeep has crashed in Dharan of Sunsari district, leaving one dead and five others injured, on Saturday afternoon.

The jeep with the registration number 43 P 4222 lost its control and fell around 200 metres down the road in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-20, along the Bhedetar-Dharan road section , informed the East Regional Police Office, Biratnagar.

Suraj Singh from Madhepura district of Bihar in India had died on the spot as the vehicle he was travelling on met with the accident.

Other five passengers of the jeep sustained injuries and have been sent to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for treatment.
