ITAHARI: An industrial worker was killed by electrocution in Sunsari district on Friday.

Ram Narayan Chaudhary, 56, a resident of Sonapur VDC- 9 who was a worker at Tirupati Woods in the industrial corridor died from electrocution, police said, adding that the incident occurred when he happened to come into contact with a live wire while installing a tube well in the industry.

Chaudhary succumbed to his injuries at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, police reported.
