BHOJPUR: A minor succumbed to tractor hit injuries in Sunsari district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as two-year-old Manisha Mandal, a daughter of Dinesh Mandal of Harinagara Rural Municipality-2, informed police.

The tractor ( Ko2 Ta 1129) had hit her when she was playing on the road, according to police.

The severely injured minor passed away at 9 am while undergoing treatment at the Golden Hospital in Biratnagar.

Police have launched a manhunt for the tractor driver who managed to flee the incident site.
