SIRAHA: A man who was admitted to a hospital in Lahan headquarters of Siraha district after being injured in a road accident died on Thursday evening.

According to police, Mahesh Singh was admitted to Lahan-based Ram Kumar Sharadha Uma Prasad Murarka Memorial Hospital after being injured when the motorcycle on which Singh was pillion riding skidded off the road and hit an object at Padariya in Lahan Municipality-12.

Police further said that the motorcycle rider fled the scene right after the accident.
