Panchthar, September 6 :

A technical problem in the optical fibre at the Nepal Telecom transmission tower at Birtamod has resulted in disruption of Internet services in parts of Mechi zone. Services have been disrupted in Panchthar, Taplejung, Ilam, Jhapa and STD service is partially operational.

Toyanath Mainali of NT Regional Office, Bhadrapur, said optical fibre at Birtamod transmission tower went down this morning, causing disruption.
