Israeli desk set up at int’l mountain museum

Pokhara, January 24

A new desk of Israel has come into operation from today at the International Mountain Museum.

The new desk was set up placing together a stone brought from dead sea of Israel and a stone from the world’s highest peak Mount Everest.

Inaugurating the desk, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ananda Pokharel saidNepal has completed all preparations for the under-construction International Airport in Pokhara and that works in the airport would begin soon after signing agreement with China.

Similarly, Israeli Ambassador to Nepal, Yaron Mayer, said the desk would help promote tourism in Nepal.

He also expressed his belief that the relations between Nepal and Israel would further strengthen in the days to come.
