Items used in making explosives found inside bus in Kailali

DHANGADHI: Armed Police Force base camp at Dudejhari in Kailali has found items used in making explosive devices inside a bus en route to Kathmandu from Delhi, India on Friday midnight.

Chief at the base camp, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Netra KC informed that they have confiscated the items found inside the bus (Na 5 Kha 7245) used to make bombs and other weapons including a detonator, along with two laptops and clothes.

He added that the bus was released after unloading the suspicious items as it was carrying passengers. However, the vehicle has been taken under control in Nawalparasi.

DSP KC informed that preparations are on-going to handover the confiscated items to District Police Office in Kailali.

Meanwhile, chief at Kailali DPO, Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhusan Timsina has confirmed, they have received information that the items confiscated are used towards making explosives.
