JAJARKOT: A murder convict, who was on the run for 27 years, has been arrested from Thalah Bazaar of Dashera VDC in Jajarkot.

In April 1990, the District Court of Jajarkot had convicted Prem Bahadur Thapa of Salma VDC-9 of murder and slapped life sentence on him.

Singh, who is now 62, was arrested after receiving a tip-off about his whereabouts.

He was presented before the Jajarkot District Court on Friday for the execution of jail sentence against him, according to DSP Bhawesh Rimal.
