KAWASOTI: A man died after an Indian registration number plate jeep knocked him down at Jyamire of Sunawal-7 of Nawalparasi on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Jeevan Bamjan (24) of Kalika-1, Kanchanpur, according to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi.

Police said that the incident took place when the jeep (UP 40 T4583) heading towards east hit Bamjan this morning.
