JMN cultural troupe snubbed

POKHARA:

The Indreni Raktim Cultural Family (IRCF), close to Janamorcha Nepal, had to stage a cultural programme on the road on Friday after the Dipendra City Hall officials refused to provide the hall for the programme although the IRCF had already booked it for the day. Just four hours before the programme, the Hall officials pasted a notice on the main gate saying they could not provide the hall for some reason. “Diwakar Banstola, the chief executive officer of the Pokhara Municipality said that the Maoists had threatened them against providing the hall to the IRCF,” said Govinda Singh Thapa, the central member of the Janamorcha Nepal. — HNS
