Journey towards new people’s democracy not over: Baidya

Rastriya Samachar Samiti

KATHMANDU: CPN-Revolutionary Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya has insisted that the journey towards the new people’s democracy was not over yet.

Addressing a programme organised by the All Nepal Women Association (Revolutionary) in the Capital on Thursday, Baidya argued that the revolution for a new people’s democracy suffered dent when it was on the verge of completion due to treachery within the party.

He took the time to give his words that true leftist political parties would be brought to a single platform to find a destination for a course towards new people’s democracy.

The Communist leader claimed that a possibility of another armed conflict could not be avoided until the presence of ‘reactionary’ rulers in the country. “Mental preparedness is a must to launch a revolution and lead it towards success.”

According to leader Baidya, they do not want to raise arms in haste, nor move back if innocent people come under the oppression of ruling class people.
