SYANGJA: Journalist Pradip Koirala of Syangja’s Waling was beaten up by a gang on Tuesday.

A member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Koirala was assaulted at a tea shop. Injured in the eye, he is undergoing treatment in Pokhara. The police have detained Shiva Biswakarma for hand in the attack. Syangja FNJ has sought strong action against the culprits.
