Three cadres of the Jantantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (Jwala Singh) were injured in an hour-long battle with the Armed Police Force personnel in Sarswar VDC of Saptari on Saturday. Police caught JTMM-J’s Area No 6 in-charge Arjun and seized a pistol from him. JTMM-J’s district coordinator Kranti confirmed the incident. Locals said the clash ensued after the JTMM-J men hurled bombs and opened fire at a patrol of the APF from Bodebarsain Base Camp. Both sides fired hundreds of rounds, locals said.
