Jumla offices lack citizen charters
JUMLA: Over a dozen government offices in Jumla district have not placed information boards and citizen charters to help service recipients access services easily.
The citizen charters and information boards put up at the district-based government offices here were vandalised in course of the struggle demanding Karnali autonomous province in last July-August.
Service recipients are facing trouble to access service for no notice board at government offices in the district, said Chairperson of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Jumla Chapter Baram Bahadur Mahat.
It has been more than six months since the struggle for Karnali province, but the government offices have not shown any interest to bring back the previous practice of providing information on public services through notice board and citizen charters in the district.
