Kaski to be declared 'No Horn Zone' from July 16

POKHARA: Kaski district is going to be declared 'No Horn Zone' from July 16, the District Traffic Police Office informed on Friday.

The Office, organisng a press meet today, made public various plans for making the 'No Horn Zone' programme a success.

Traffic Police Inspector Bishwa Raj Adhikari said that under the programme, hoarding boards reading 'No Horn Zone' would be put at various places in the city and awareness about road accidents and safety would be given to public. Similarly, awareness pamphlets would also be distributed to pedestrians and drivers would also be given training for avoiding needless honking.
