BANEPA: The Office of the Vice-chancellor of Kathmandu University was vandalized on Monday.

Police said, unidentified group of gang came in seven motorcycles, two persons resorted to vandalism and smashed the window, door, computer and printer of the VC's office.

No arrest has been made in connection with the incident so far, DSP at the District Police Office, Dhulikhel, Nabinraj Rai said.

Meanwhile, taking responsibility of the act, KU Coordinator of ANNFSU-Revolutionary, affiliated to the CPN (Maoist Centre) Dr Achyut Bhatta said it was carried out against the failure of the KU management to enforce a 'merit system in MBBS enrollment' and for charging exorbitant fee.
