RAJBIRAJ: Police in Saptari district today made public three suspects who were arrested for their alleged involvement in kidnapping and murdering an eight-year-old boy.

According to SP Dibesh Lohani at the District Police Office, the body was recovered from his neighbour's septic tank today after 20 days.

Organising a press meet today, police made three suspects - Chudamani Thakur (27) Rambabu Gupta Sah (19) and Kapil Dev Das (22) - public for their alleged involvement in kidnapping Durgananda Sah of Haripur-3 in Saptari district, on November 26 for Rs 500,000 in ransom.

Meanwhile, Lohani said police were able to trace them as they were frequently sending SMSes to the family.

Police suspected that the boy might have been killed on the same day of the abduction.

DSP Dan Bahadur Karki said police had pointed out the location of the body after receiving information from the suspects.
