Former prime minister and Nepali Congress president Girija Prasad Koirala today met the Speaker of the House of Representatives Tara Nath Ranabhat and sought his help to revive the dissolved lower house of parliament. According to the Speaker’s close aide, Koirala meet Ranabhat and sought his help to reinstate the lower house of parliament that was dissolved by the King as per the recommendation of former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba three years ago. The two discussed political issues for two hours.
