Korean man dies at Ghandruk while returning from Annapurna Base Camp

POKHARA: A South Korean trekker died in a hotel room at Ghandruk of Kaski district in the popular Annapurna circuit in western Nepal.

Identified as Geukcheol Bank, the 52-year-old Korean man had stayed over at the Himalaya Hotel in the tourist village along with 13 fellow trekkers. They were trekking back from the Annapurna Base Camp.

The deceased had reportedly fallen ill on Sunday evening and was found dead in his bed this morning, according to the District Police Office, Kaski.
