Korean volunteers here

Kathmandu, July 5:

Seven Korean Overseas Volunteers (KOVs) arrived here today to share their experiences and expertise on different fields.

A press statement issued by the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) said: “The team will share Korea’s knowledge and skills on civil engineering, child education, nursing, physical therapy and clinical laboratory with the Nepali people.”

It added that the team that arrived in Kathmandu as part of the Korean government’s technical cooperation for Nepal.

The statement said the KOVs would be assigned to different organisations after seven weeks of training which would focus on learning the Nepali language and culture.
