Oli visits Langtang, Rasuwagadi

CPN-UML Chair and former prime minister KP Sharma Oli today visited Langtang and Rasuwagadhi.

Addressing a programme, organised by the Gosainkunda Rural Municipality-2 Timure committee, Oli committed to upgrade Rasuwagadhi-Kerung road section adding that the Betrawati-Kerung road section will come into operation by April.

Oli also committed to developing Galchhi-Rasuwagadhi Highway into a two-lane highway.  He stressed on managing Rasuwa customs office by upgrading it. Gosainkunda, Langtang and Rasuwagadi, among other tourist zones, will be conserved, he added.

Oli said a railway line will be constructed along Rasuwagadi.

The visiting team comprised party General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel, Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Poudel, standing committee members Shankar Pokharel and Subas Nembang and Janardan Dhakal.
