KATHMANDU:

A meeting of founding members of nine colleges affiliated to the Kathmandu University (KU) held on Wednesday expressed concern about the conflict between management and students and employees in the KU. Issuing a statement, they said the students and employees’ unions at the university should not be drawn into politics. They also expressed their collective commitment to safeguard the ‘distinct characteristics’ of the university.
