KHOTANG: The Kirat Workers' Party freed Krishna Bahadur Khadka, a resident of Chhatra Pokhari-9, Khotang with a fine five days after his abduction on Wednesday on charges of murdering his wife.

According to the KWP division commander Bikash Kirati, Kadka has been handed over to his family on the condition that he would contribute labour worth five lakhs in their corrective labour camp.

Khadka's maternal family charged his involvement in his wife's suicide though the police had already released him after the investigation and post mortem report found him innocent.
