LAMJUNG: Two inmates of Lamjung District Prison were held while trying to escape from the jail, of late.

Ajit Kumar BK of Pokhari-4 in Ilam district has been serving the jail time for the past four years for human trafficking while Rajan Pariya of Bunkot in Gorkha district is imprisoned for past two years in a murder case.

They had tried to run away by making a hole from the toilet, informed DSP Shabu Prasad Dhakal.

Jailer Kajiman Sunwar informed that the jail administration had already informed the District Administration Office through the Department of Prison Management to shift the both jailbirds.
