Lamjung LRO starts online service

LAMJUNG: Lamjung Land Revenue Office (LRO) has started to provide the services of the Land Records Information Management System, online.

With this, various records housed in the office are now easily accessible from one location, which was not possible before.

The Lamjung office is the 85th branch to start the online service in the country.

Inaugurating the system, Chief District Officer (CDO) Dijan Bhattarai said that the system will benefit the service seekers and the state by helping to stop the corruption in the office.

Bhattarai further said that although switching to the online system may take some time, the system will be of benefit to both employees and service seekers.

Chief of District Land Revenue Office, Ganga Bahadur Ghale, said that the office has moved forward by including the technology.

Gulmi Land Revenue Office will be next to start the online system that is being implemented with grant support from the Asian Development Bank.
