CHITWAN: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section, which was obstructed due to a  landslide triggered by torrential rainfall at Tope Khola in Chitwan district since Saturday morning, has reopened in the evening.

Traffic movement along the road resumed since this evening after the landslide debris was cleared, according to police.

The massive landslide at Tope Khola had obstructed the vehicular movement along the road since this morning.

Thousands of vehicles had stranded halfway due to the obstructions.

The road section has been frequently obstructed due to landslides this monsoon an road expansion project was running along the road till just few months ago.
