DHANKUTA: Vehicular movement has been obstructed along Dharan--Dhankuta road section of Koshi Highway due to deposition of landslide debris on Friday.

According to the District Police Office, Dhankuta, the landslide took place at Laborbote in Sagurigadi Rural Municipality-1 along the road stretch this afternoon.

Hundreds of vehicles and commuters heading to eastern hilly districts--Terhathum, Sankhuwasabha, Bhojpur from Sunsari and vice-versa have been stranded following the road obstruction.

Meanwhile, works are underway to remove debris of landslide. police said.
