BABIYACHAUR: A local humanitarian organisation has provided financial aid of around Rs 1.3 million to the landslide victims at Bhagwati-2 and Ramche-9, Baisari, in Myagdi district.

Amid a programme held here on Wednesday, the Omkumari Shanti Fund handed over the amount to the Baisari Landslide-victims Relief Management Committee for the same.

Earlier, the Fund had distributed relief materials such as food items, clothes, LPG gas cylinder and blankets to the victims of landslide that occurred on May 24 this year.

Of the total 27 households at Ramche-9, Kafaldanda in the district, 18 families were displaced and have been residing in a temporary shelter in the nearby safer place, according to the Committee.
