Leaders misinforming about new statue: Nembang
JHAPA: CA Chairman Subas Chandra Nembang today said the dispute among political parties conveyed a wrong message to the people that the new statue would not be drafted in the stipulated time.
Inaugurating a human rights meet in Chandragadhi, Nembang said, ‘’Leaders of political parties have been saying that the country is in peril and foreign forces have been increasing their presence in the country.’’
He, however, warned that foreign powers could intervene in the country’s internal affairs if the parties failed to settle their dispute at the earliest, streesing that there was no alternative to consensus.
He also said the outcome of the second people’s movement was yet to be institutionalised due to the parties’ wrangling.
