Left alliance for economic prosperity in Nepal: Leader Oli
BUTWAL: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that the left alliance was forged for the country's economic prosperity.
He also stressed that the country's development would take momentum after the leftist parties are merged after the upcoming elections.
Addressing an election rally organised by the left alliance in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City on Wednesday, Oli said that a parallel relations with both the neighbours, India and China would be maintained to strengthen bilateral relations.
The former Prime Minister urged the voters to cast their votes for candidates of the left alliance for a better future to their children.
Oli said that the phase of economic blockade on Nepal under any pretext is over as it witnessed economic blockade during his premiership as the NC could not maintain good relations with India.
He reiterated that the trade and transit agreement with China has ended the era of blockade on Nepal.
Also addressing the mass meeting, CPN-Maoist Centre General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa said that the left alliance was needed for the establishment of socialism after the elections. "A single communist party is indispensable in Nepal and it will take a concrete shape soon," he said.
CPN-UML leaders Bishnu Pandey, Ghanshyam Bhusal and Maoist Centre leader Bamdev Chhetri, Dilaram Acharya and others also urged the folks to cast vote for the candidates of left alliance.
