Left alliance leads in both parliamentary and provincial elections in Bhojpur

BHOJPUR: The left alliance has taken lead in both parliamentary and provincial vote counting in Bhojpur.

Until 5:30 pm today, left alliance candidate Sudan Kirati of the CPN-Moist Centre is leading against Nepali Congress candidate Umesh Jung Rayamajhi by 4,385 votes. Kirati has so far got 10,574 votes compared to Rayamajhi's 6,189.

CPN-UML's candidate for Provincial Assembly (B) Sher Dhan Rai is leading against NC candidate Govinda Bahadur Karki by 7,793 votes. While Rai has secured 12,035 votes, Karki has garnered 4,242 votes so far.

In Provincial Assembly (A), CPN-UML candidate Rajendra Kumar Rai is leading with 3,001 votes. Rai has secured 6,411 votes, while his closest contender the Federal Socialist Forum's Ambar Kambang has got 3,410 votes.
