KHOTANG: Leopards have caused panic among people in Likuwapokhari of Khotehang Rural Municipality-1 in southern Khotang district.

Until now, the leopards prowling in the settlement have killed over 30 goats within four days and have strike fear into the locals, said veterinarian Deepesh Khadka.

Local Sanman Khadka said that the leopards had killed a dozen of his goats altogether both sneaking into the shed and attacking while foraging in the field.

Last year also the leopards had terrorised the locals.
