Light aftershock of ML 4.1 jolts Gorkha

KATHMANDU: A light tremor of local magnitude 4.1 struck Gorkha district on Saturday morning.
The National Seismological Centre, Lainchaur, listed it as an aftershock of the Gorkha earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25 last year.
The tremor was recorded at 11:59 am and the epicentre was close to Ashrang of the district.
The coordinates of the epicentre are 27.99°N, 84.71°E.
Earlier on Friday, a minor aftershock of local magnitude 3.7 was recorded at around 2:40 pm, with its epicentre around Kirtipur of Kathmandu.
