BIRATNAGAR: Lightening claimed five lives in Dhankuta, Morang and Sunsari districts on Wednesday night. Three persons in Dhankuta, Ambar Bahadur Poudel of Chamang-9, Bishnu Kumari Rai, 16 and Kesika Rai, 18 of Khoku were killed in separate incidents when they were struck by a bolt of lightening on Wednesday, Biratnagar based regional police office said. While Akal Bahadur Magar, 72, a resident of Madhumalla-7 in Morang and Ashok Chandrabanshi of Prakahspur-5 in Sunsari were killed when they were hit by a bolt of lightening in separate incidents, the area police office said.
