PHIDIM: Four people have been injured after a bolt of lightning struck them at Lungrupa of Phidim Municipality-13 in Panchtar district on Saturday afternoon.

The injured have been identified as Pradeep Rai, Jamuna Rai, Bhadra Dulak and Kerbik Rai of the then Lungrupa-2.

They have been taken to the Panchthar District Hospital for treatment, according to locals.

The Panchthar District Police Office details about the incident is awaited.

Panchthar witnessed thundershower and hailstones in in the afternoon.
