DHARAN: Federal Limbuwan State Council on Saturday issued a diktat saying that no developmental works in the “Limbuwan region” would be carried out without acquiring the council’s permission. Organising a press meet here yesterday, the representatives of the ethnic body said that it was now mandatory to get their approval for the purpose in the eastern districts of Dhankuta, Shankhuwasabha, Tehrathum, Panchthar, Ilam, Taplejung, Sunsari, Morang and Jhapa. Chairman of the group, Sanjuhang Palungwa, urged the government and non-government organisations to run the projects as per the ILO Convention. “Projects without our approval will not be entertained,” said Palungwa.
