Locals get citizenship, medical services on doorsteps

BAJURA: People in Khaptad Chhededaha Rural Municipality of Bajura district have been provided with citizenship and medical services at their doorsteps by conducting an integrated mobile service camp. The Rural Municipality office organised the mobile service camp at Dogani for service delivery.

It has been shared that a total of 559 persons including 325 women received their citizenship. Mostly, the senior citizens and economically marginalised people and teenagers received the service, according to Rural Municipality Chairman Nar Bahadur Rawat.

Assistant Chief District Officer Khagendra Bahadur Malla-led team was deputed to provide the citizenship to the citizens. Similarly, 581 people registered their names in the voters’ namelist.

Likewise, 692 persons including 466 women received health care service in the two-day long mobile camp, it is said.

Dr Rup Chandra Bishwakarma, Di Teeka Rai, Health Assistant Ramesh Bahadur Oli and other health workers examined the health and provided medicines to the needy people, according to the Rawat.
