Lock-out at PN campus

Pokhara, February 9:

Students of the Prithvi Narayan Campus in Pokhara on Thursday locked the office of the campus chief for an indefinite period accusing the campus administration of neglecting the students’ memorandum submitted a week ago to take initiatives for the release of student leaders arrested by security forces from peaceful demonstrations.

They also urged the campus administration to take initiatives for the release of the students. The students were arrested from a demonstration organised to protest the municipal polls. Student bodies said the study of the detained students will be affected negatively if they were not freed soon.
