LPG cylinders cheaper

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of liquefied petroleum gas by Rs 25 per cylinder with effect from Wednesday.

With the new adjustment in price, LPG will cost Rs 1,325 per cylinder in the domestic retail market. NOC Spokesperson Sitaram Pokharel said LPG price had been slashed in line with reduced rate of cooking gas sent by Indian Oil Corporation for the month of August.

However, NOC has not adjusted price of other petroleum products. “Price adjustment has not been carried out for other petroleum products as their prices have slightly increased as per the new IOC rate,” said Pokharel.
