Kathmandu, March 26:

Breaking away from tradition, Gorkha FM today made public its recommendations on the issues to be incorporated in the new constitution in the musical form.

The 12 songs, which were released during a function to mark the second anniversary of Gorkha FM in the capital, offer suggestions on various concerns — including national language and dress, inclusiveness, national integrity, and the need for a joint effort for development.

During the function, CA chairman Subas Chandra Nembang handed booklets consisting lyrics of the songs to the contributing artistes.

Similarly, in televised message, President Dr Ram Baran Yadav wished that the radio will be able to implant the feeling of fraternity among all Nepalis . Yadav also hoped that the new constitution will be able to restore peace without undermining sovereignty, integrity,self-esteem of the citizens and communal harmony.
