Madi locals demand control on tusker terror

CHITWAN: Locals in Madi area of Chitwan district have obstructed the vehicular movement today asking the local administration to control wild animals' terror in the locality.

The terror of wild animals has gone up in the recent days, the locals said.

According to the Madi Area Police Office, tuskers from the Chitwan National Park (CNP) have created terror for the past few days in the locality.

Fearing the attacks of wild animals, the locals are forced to spend sleepless nights and stay awake, it is said.

On Friday itself, a tusker from the CNP had killed 13-year-old Sagar Sunar, a local resident of Madi Municipality-11.
