Mahato meets Indian President Mukherjee

KATHMANDU: Chairman of Sadbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato on Saturday called on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi. According to Mahato, he made a courtesy call on President Mukherjee this evening. Talking over telephone, Mahato said he tried to inform the President about the concerns of Madhesi and Janajatis regarding the new constitution. “During the meeting, President Mukherjee expressed concern about peace in Nepal,” he said, adding that he also discussed strengthening the relationship between the two countries. Mahato is returning home on Sunday. After receiving treatment, Mahato was engaged in meetings with different political figures of India.
