KATHMANDU: Two persons were injured after a truck met with an accident at Khapung of Tistung-1 in Makawanpur district on Monday evening.

The truck (Na 2 Kha 8112), heading to Hetaunda from Kathmandu, crashed into the wall on roadside at around 7 pm, according to police.

The injured have been identified as Raju Sunuwar (21) of Thapa-7 in Makawanpur and Rajesh Sunuwar (18) of Belighat-6 in Dhading, police said.

The Sunuwar duo apparently were travelling on the truck (Na 2 Kha 8112) as passengers.  According to police, they have been brought to Kathmandu for treatment.

Truck driver and helper, however, fled the site after the accident, police said.
