BAGLUNG: Police have arrested a man in Baglung District for allegedly beating his spouse to death.

Deu Prasad Chhantyal, 66, of Tarakhola rural municipality-2 in Baglung has been charged with hitting his wife with a wooden club to death on alcoholic stupor.

Tulamaya Chhantyal, 70, died in the incident that happened Friday. She was attacked by her husband following a minor dispute between the two. Severely injured in the beating, she died amidst treatment at the Galkot Primary Health Center, Harichaur, District Police Office, Baglung said.
